Do you have excellent guest service skills that you want to put to work in an environment where we take fun seriously? Kings Dominion has an entryl level position opening in our Human Resources office for an KD Central Associate.
In this role you will be a part of the Human Resources team that assists our associates with their day to day HR needs.
You will also be involved in distributing reward incentives and sales items in our associate store! This position comes with awesome associate events/raffles and the opportunity to earn addmission tickets to the park for your friends and family!
Responsibilities:
Interacts with and assists individuals in an outgoing, friendly, versatile, flexible, and professional manner Communicates by phone, mail, e-mail, radio, and in person Enters data into computerized systems Promotes departmental opportunities and associate activities Distributes associate perks and paychecks Issues, Sells, and Distributes employee items such as uniforms, name tags, etc.
Launders uniforms and other items Maintains inventory and data entry of items into inventory system Assists in all areas of Human Resources, as well as the park, as needed Monitor and provide minor cleaning/straightening up of Associate Services and employee bathrooms Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
Qualifications:
Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
Meets Cedar Fair's attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair's attendance policies.
Adheres to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
Other duties may be assigned.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
