As a Senior Industrial Engineer at Disney, you would guide business leaders in translating ideas into tangible innovation opportunities that focus on strategy within operations.

Every single day as a Senior Industrial Engineer is different! On any one day you might:
Create cross-departmental strategies to refine the next productivity boost Develop analytics to identify areas for improvement and change Lead a brainstorming session about simulation, forecasting, and optimization Formulate plans with other engineers for future operational development Present to executive leadership to help influence change Solidify relationships within Disney through inter-team collaborations Gain leadership development and rotate between client groups Attend seminars on professional and personal development Research and benchmark topics relevant to your project scope; Lead or support others with a field study Coach interns so they can own their projects and contribute in a meaningful way Spend time in the Parks to observe operations, and gain process insights Grab lunch with the team or hop on an attraction at a Disney park! Basic Qualifications Please apply if you have:
A Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research or equivalent 5
years of applied experience Fully evolved project management skills, with an emphasis on communication and building strategic relationships Success wearing a consultant's hat, and with making quality/process improvements Confidence to work independently, to define and delineate scope-of-work, to understand the full impact of findings on the business and to pro-actively develop recommendations A strong, compelling presentation style with the ability to lead key stakeholders In-depth Experience with capacity/demand analysis and modeling techniques Knowledge of conducting field studies/data collection efforts, and the finesse to do so in sometimes difficult situations Expertise with spreadsheets, databases, and statistical/graphic software Resiliency - you're up for the challenge of continuous improvement and work through hurdles Creativity to approach problems in new, innovative ways Experience motivating others The ability to successfully juggle multiple tasks at once, especially in dynamic environments A flexible schedule - you know what it takes to meet project milestones The ability to think outside the box, providing ideas on how to do things differently Preferred Qualifications It would be nice if you also have:
